Guess The Quote!- The Bookworm Version
The title tells all. Post a statement uttered by a character of a book and others try to guess who said it, or from which book, or both. Please try not to use generic stuff like "Hello". I bet 9 out of 10 books have that word. The tenth would be a foreign language book.
And please do not use stuff from shortened revised versions unless you're a fairly sure the original book has that same or similar quote.
If after 5 guesses have been made and none of them is the correct answer, or the questioner has not come to verify it, the sixth poster can show a new quote.
Yay, I start!
"Lady Catherine, you may ask questions, which I choose to not answer."

Ah-ha! Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Took me a surprising long time to get that what, especially since I just reread the book for the second time.

Correct! I picked that line from the front page of the book, where they always put in extracts from the story. Your turn next, Way!

Re: Guess The Quote!- The Bookworm Version
Ok, let's see.
How about: "I gave Pirrip as my father's family name, on the authority of his tombstone and my sister - Mrs. Joe Gargery, who married the blacksmith."
The names alone should give it away... *hint hint* *cough cough*...

Have I told you I LOVE GREAT EXPECTATIONS? It's my favourite Charles Dickens book! I totally hate Pip, in a passionate way!
